It only seems fitting that the name of the resort we recently vacationed at would also be the thing that stuck with me the most during and after our trip – BEACHES! My most recent travel adventure brought me to Mexico, where I stayed at the upscale El Dorado Maroma, an adults only resort situated on Maroma beach in Riviera Maya.
Maroma beach is consistently rated one of the top 10 beaches in the world. Travel Channel describes it as “quite possibly the most exquisite secret in Mexico.” I have had the opportunity to visit the beaches of Riviera Maya numerous times and I was truly amazed at the beauty of Maroma beach. The sand was exceptionally soft with a beautiful bright white color and the water was calm with light turquoise tones. This beach is simply breathtaking. Read more »
Bonbini! That’s Papiamento for “Welcome” in Aruba. This is the Aruban way to welcome everyone to their warm and friendly island.
And friendly it is! From the minute you step off the airplane you are greeted with smiles, warm weather, cool trade winds, white-sand beaches that go on forever, and just a general overall feeling that makes you smile and think, “I’m home.” I’ve traveled to Aruba a few times for work, but this time I took a few days for vacation with my family. I hope reading about our trip will spark your interest in this great island.
