Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe – First Impressions

So they say a first impression are everything and based off of being here for one day, the Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe is the PERFECT spot for a Punta Cana vacation!

I’ve explored pretty much the entire resort now and there is a lot to see and even more to do. There are 10 restaurants, 6 bars/lounges, a casino, a disco, nightly entertainment, a golf course, spa, plenty of shopping opportunities, a kids waterpark, water sports, beautiful pools and of course…the beach! I won’t get into the beach on this post, I’m saving that for tomorrow’s post! (talk about a Soprano’s type cliffhanger huh?!) The resort grounds are full of Caribbean flowers with vibrant pinks and greens and the buildings have the straw roofs, it’s just what you picture paradise to look like.

The picture at the top of the post is of my room view. I couldn’t be happier over looking the adult pool with dozens of palm trees and the aqua blue Caribbean water. I’m not an early riser but I wanted to get up as soon as I could today to just look at the view and hit the beach. Actually, I am writing this from my balcony! In the video here, I walk you through what my room looks like…there is a jacuzzi on my balcony!!

There are a lot of different room types you can get and of course you can get them with just one bed instead of my room which has two. They have rooms where the bedroom is separate from the living space as well as family rooms which have two bedrooms. So this resort is perfect for everyone; families, groups, adults, singles, couples…basically what I am saying is if you are looking for an all-inclusive vacation, This. Is. THE. Spot!
